I work one-on-one with clients to meet nutritional needs, address concerns, and help them reach their fullest potential when it comes to health, wellness, and performance goals. Each counseling session is tailored to the individual preferences, goals, and experiences in order to create lasting changes that foster optimal health. Group appointments are available for families, siblings, friends, and teammates that are working towards similar goals.
In-Person & Virtual Sessions
Both in-person and virtual appointments are available. In person appointments take place in our Cranford office and offer a more personalized experience. Virtual appointments, however, can be a great option for busy schedules and quick check-ins.
As a dietitian, I'm a firm believer that good food goes beyond just health and performance. In addition to being good for the body, food should be fun, social, and enjoyable. With this, I take a holistic, non-diet approach to food and nutrition. I believe that all foods can and should fit into a healthy diet and that this is one of the keys in sustaining both a healthy lifestyle and a full life.
I also believe that the definition of a "healthy weight" is different for everybody. Health isn't just physical and there is a growing body of research that supports that health is not just a number on the scale. When talking about health, I take into account all aspects of health (psychological, emotional, social, spiritual, physical, etc) and take an approach that supports "health at every size."
Whether I'm working with a top Division 1 athlete or an individual who has never worked out in their life, I believe that these philosophies are part of each individuals' road to success.
What these philosophies do not mean:
An overall healthy, nutrient-rich diet isn't promoted.
A weight that supports a disease, like high blood pressure or diabetes, is a healthy weight.
Potato chips and ice cream (or other less nutritious foods) are prioritized over athletic performance.
Private Pay: Inquire by email or phone for rates and packages. We accept cash, check, credit card, Paypal, & Venmo. Payment is due at the end of each session or at the time of purchase for a package. With our packages, a 10% discount is applied when you purchase sessions in advance in packs of 3, 5, or 10. Sessions purchased through our packages must be used within 6 months.
Insurance: At ENW, we believe that nutrition services should be accessible to all individuals no matter their financial means. Therefore, we are happy to accept most major insurances. Insurance coverage for nutrition services varies by both provider and plan. Most insurances offer "preventative services" and do not require a clinical diagnosis for coverage. However, this is never a guarantee. Insurance coverage for virtual sessions also varies by provider and virtual sessions are often not covered.
Many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, which may cover services for those clients whose insurance I am out of network with. In these instances, payment is made up front but a detailed "superbill" or itemized receipt will be provided upon request. This can then be submitted to your insurance company for potential reimbursement depending on your plan.
Are you curious to see if your plan covers nutrition services?
Accessible Rates: To help ensure accessible services, we will work with you regarding payment. Please inquire via email about accessible rates and payment plans for qualified clients.
