In addition to being one of the easiest (and prettiest) recipes out there, smoothie bowls have SO much potential in terms of the nutritional benefits they provide. Not only does this simple recipe contain several key vitamins from the variety of fruits, but it also has a number of excellent Super Foods, including heart-healthy chia seeds, fresh spinach, antioxidant-rich blueberries, and even raw ginger which is very beneficial to your digestive health.
Additionally, we love the idea of smoothie bowls because they can be customized to satisfy even the pickiest taste buds, while still providing a well-balanced and nutrient-dense meal every time. Feel free to get creative with the ingredients you put in your smoothie and especially with the toppings.
